Main Line realtor - LOST IN SPACE
If a room is particularly small, remember to use furnishings that fit the space. To give the illusion of space, choose glass tops or chairs not an overstuffed couch. Curtains that run floor to ceiling create height and flow in a small space. Go curvy: Round furnishings in hard corners or plants placed strategically can help. Other things you can do: paint an "odd" wall a different color and use it to display art or photos or, place an area rug in the center of the room which will bring the eye to the middle of the space.
